By purchasing this product you will help to reduce energy wastage by using it more efficiently 3D Hot Air Cooking - The upper and lower elements plus an additional element around the fan work together to distribute the heat evenly for same-temperature cooking on three levels. At higher tempertures (200-250ÂºC) the effect is to evenly grill on three levels with no turning of the food required. Pyrolytic Self Cleaning Function - In a Pyrolytic self-cleaning cycle, the oven is heated to around 480Â°C. At that temperature any deposits are quickly reduced to a thin layer of ash, which can then be simply wiped away with a damp cloth to leave a completely clean oven. No need for detergents or back strain â€“ nothing could be easier. Hot Air Cooking - Heat produced by the element around the fan is then evenly distributed throughout the oven. Equally effective for batch baking and roasting. This means that sweet and savoury items can be evenly cooked on three shelf levels at the same time. Conventional Top and Bottom Heat - Heat generated beneath the oven floor and by the grill element. As heat travels to the centre by natural convection, the centre of the oven is the best position to obtain selected temperatures. Good for foods with a dark crisp finsh or long slow cooking. Bottom Heat Only - A crisp underside to pizza bases and pastry cases can be achieved by activating only the element which is concealed in the floor of the oven. Ideal for blind baking and bain-marie cooking. Hot Air Grilling - An ideal cooking method for meat where and poultry where a rotisserie effect is desired. The grill and fan operate alternately, which results in even, crisp food and can use up to 50% less energy than traditional roasting.
