By purchasing this product you will help to reduce energy wastage by using it more efficiently B Energy Efficiency Class (top oven) - This product is rated as B class for energy efficiency, under the EU award scheme, supported by HM Government. 3D Hot Air Cooking - The upper and lower elements plus an additional element around the fan work together to distribute the heat evenly for same-temperature cooking on three levels. At higher temperatures (200-250ºC) the effect is to evenly grill on three levels with no turning of the food required. Hot Air Cooking (Main Oven) - Heat produced by the element around the fan is then evenly distributed throughout the oven. Equally effective for batch baking and roasting. This means that sweet and savoury items can be evenly cooked on three shelf levels at the same time. Fast Heat (Main Oven) - This time-saver preheats the oven approx. 30% faster by using all the heating elements at once. Bottom Heat Only (Main Oven) - A crisp underside to pizza bases and pastry cases can be achieved by activating only the element which is concealed in the floor of the oven. Ideal for blind baking and bain-marie cooking. Conventional Top and Bottom Heat - Heat generated beneath the oven floor and by the grill element. As heat travels to the centre by natural convection, the centre of the oven is the best position to obtain selected temperatures. Good for foods with a dark crisp finsh or long slow cooking. Hot Air Grilling in Main Oven - An ideal cooking method for meat where and poultry where a rotisserie effect is desired. The grill and fan operate alternately, which results in even, crisp food and can use up to 50% less energy than traditional roasting. Half Width - On selected ovens you have the option to select just the centre section of the grill element as an economical way to grill smaller quantities of food.
