At higher temperatures (200-250ºC) the effect is to evenly grill on three levels with no turning of the food required. Hold Warm - This convenient function keeps food items warm at temperatures between 66°C and 100°C at the touch of a button. Easy Clean Interior Hot Air Cooking (Main Oven) - Heat produced by the element around the fan is then evenly distributed throughout the oven. Equally effective for batch baking and roasting. This means that sweet and savoury items can be evenly cooked on three shelf levels at the same time. Conventional Top and Bottom Heat - Heat generated beneath the oven floor and by the grill element. As heat travels to the centre by natural convection, the centre of the oven is the best position to obtain selected temperatures. Good for foods with a dark crisp finsh or long slow cooking. Bottom Heat Only in Main Oven - A crisp underside to pizza bases and pastry cases can be achieved by activating only the element which is concealed in the floor of the oven. Ideal for blind baking and bain-marie cooking. Hot Air Grilling in Main Oven - An ideal cooking method for meat where and poultry where a rotisserie effect is desired. The grill and fan operate alternately, which results in even, crisp food and can use up to 50% less energy than traditional roasting. Half Width - On selected ovens you have the option to select just the centre section of the grill element as an economical way to grill smaller quantities of food. Pizza Setting in Main Oven - Designed for the pizza-lover, but equally useful for quiches & tarts, this innovative setting delivers cooking power for a perfectly crisp, browned base while keeping the topping moist. Defrost Setting (Main Oven) - Fan only (without heat) A fan at the back of the oven circulates air evenly around frozen food to minimise defrosting times.
