For protection against scalding, the thermostatic shower mixer Grohtherm 1000 shower has a special safety button (temperature overrides at 38 degrees C)
Grohtherm 1000 controls are suitable for high pressure water systems only (minimum recommended pressure 1.0 bar). This would include;
• Pumped systems
• Unvented systems (like Megaflow), and
• Most modern combi-boilers

The Grohtherm 3000 offers performance showering with the reasurance of thermostatic control coping with any fluctuations in water temperature and pressure.
