Q. Where do I find prices?
A. All prices are available on our website. If there is an item that you cannot find on our website, please call our friendly sales team on 08700 428884.
Q. I am a tradesperson, can I have a discount?
A. We can only offer further discount on our products if an individual order exceeds £5000.00 + VAT.
Q. Can you send me a brochure?
A. We are an internet based company and in an effort to keep overheads and prices to a minimum we do not produce catalogues, brochures or price lists. You can browse our selection at www.discountedheating.co.uk. Alternativley you can contact the manufacturer direct, a list of contacts can be found here
Q. I live outside the UK, can I buy from you?
A. Please contact us for an accurate quotation if you intend to export any of our products. Depending on your location delivery times may vary from 4 days to 8 weeks, we will endeavor to quote an accurate delivery on request. Alternatively, we would be more than happy to liaise with your independent courier service to arrange for any items to be collected from us. Please be aware that we require a signature to say that the goods have been received in good condition and that we cannot accept a return once the item has been signed for. Also shipping the items overseas will invalidate any warranty on the item.
Q. Where are you?
A. We are in Plymouth, Devon, UK. However we use a network of suppliers across the UK and always try to source goods as locally as possible.
Q. Do you install?
A. We do not install. We do not advise anyone to pre-book an electrician, plumber, builder or any other installer untill their goods have been received and checked.
Top Tips for finding a plumber
- Ask friends/relatives/neighbours who they use.
- Use a member of the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering - members have to hold recognised qualifications in plumbing and/or extensive experience.
- Get at least three quotes - when asking for quotes find out if there is a call out fee and many people will be doing the job and if the price per hour includes all the workmen/women or if more is charged per plumber.
- Ask for a written quote - unless there are any unforeseen costs, the final bill should not deviate too far from this initial written quote.
- Clearly explain all of the work you need doing - write it all down if possible.
- Ask how long the job will take.
When you have found a plumber and the job is completed, ask for a full breakdown of the bill so you know where your money has gone
- Never pay upfront before a job is completed.
- Good plumbers will be busy no matter when you call. Don't give up on quality to get a job done quicker.
- Don’t be scared to ask questions, a Registered Plumber will be knowledgeable and able to answer anything you need to know.
